YOUR LEGACY PROVIDES STABILITY FOR THE LIBRARY FOR YEARS TO COME.
Write your legacy as a member of the HMMPL Foundation Arch Society.
Your life is at the library. You borrow books, yet you know that a library is so much more. You attend classes on everything from computer training to wellness to wine tasting. You meet your children and grandchildren at the library for cultural and educational enrichment programs. You attend book clubs and author talks. You know that the library is the Community Hub. Write your legacy with a gift to the HMMPL Arch Society.
Much like the iconic three-arch entry to the library, Planned Giving creates stability for the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library Foundation. Your gift to the Arch Society perpetuates the Foundation's mission for generations of life-long learners.
The Arch Society honors the legacy of three women with a passion for literacy and for the community became the keystone of the Foundation: Lora Hussey, Olive Hoffman, and Mary Mayfield. The Arch Society honors their legacy and their bequests that became the keystone of the Foundation. The HMMPL Foundation was created in 1999 thanks to their bequests. In just over 20 years, the HMMPL Foundation has awarded more than $1,000,000 in grants to the Library.
